Empty

The yard feels empty, the house seems empty. No sign of Rosie anywhere. I spent most of last night looking for her and making noise with her favorite toy, but she hasn't showed up. Sam is gone also. She had a collar with her phone number, and she loves everybody. She would walk up to people to say hi. Doesn't anyone care enough to read her tag and call me? Someone has seen her, they've had to. Perhaps they wanted a dog like her too. Please God, send my Rosie back to me. Her family misses her....

  • I just stopped by and saw that Rosie is missing. Have your neighbors come home yet with any news as to where she may be? I sure hope you find her soon and that she's ok. I'd be heartbroken if it were cerebus missing.

  • I'm still here, Mary.

Do you have an answering machine on your phone? If not, get a cheap one, in case someone tries to call while you're out looking.

I hope you have good news soon.

  • thanks guys- yes I do have an answering machine. I put up some fliers today around the hood. Hopefully, someone has her and is waiting for the holiday weekend to be over before they call the pound. I honestly hope that tomorrow I will see her at the pound. Never mind the doggie bail, I just want my Ro-ro back.
It was hard at work today. It was so hot and all I could think of wa my dog out there somewhere in this heat dying of thirst.

  • You may be right about someone waiting for the holidays to be over before they call the pound. I'm sure Rosie will find water if she needs it. Hang in there.

  • I sure wish I could come and help you find her. I also wish I could offer some sort of comforting words here, but I'm afraid all I can say is I'm praying for her safety and swift return to you.

I see you wanted a letter and Bob was gracious even to give you one. If you haven't seen it yet it's the letter *F*. I'm hoping FANTASTIC turns out to be one of your words discribing the news of Rosie!!
